In an increasingly competitive context, the ambition is very strong for Suez Digital Solutions: to establish the group's global leadership in the Water sector and to accelerate in the Waste activity, and to double the Group's turnover in digital activities by 2027.
Digital solutions is organized around 3 large families of solutions (solution lines), in charge of product publishing and an operations department, in charge of the deployment and operation of customer projects in the different regions.
The 3 solution lines are :
- Smart Metering & Smart Cities (> 6 million connected meters deployed worldwide)
- Water Operations & Assets solutions (software solutions for global management of the water cycle and management of investments in infrastructure in water and waste, > 1500 platforms deployed)
- R&R Solutions & Customer Portals (digital solutions to optimize waste management, from collection to the different recovery sectors)
The operations division is made up of a central team, mainly based in France, and departments based in strategic countries/regions for the development of Digital Solutions, namely, to date: France, UK, Italy, North America, Australia / New Zealand and China/Asia.
Within de Water & Assets solutions, tThe SPM will define solutions not only for our internal customers but for all actors of our markets.
Reporting: Report to Director of Solution Lines.
Responsibilities:
ProductStrategy Definition:
- The major objective is to define a product strategy and road-map for optimizing waste industrial EFW (Energy for Waste) Plants - for internal use and external customers.
- This strategy must match the best with international market needs while optimizing development cost and run cost (rationalization of the product portfolio for reducing diversity is key). For this objective, understanding the customer needs coming from Suez Bus worldwide and external clients it's paramount.
- Understand customer segmentation and adapt product segmentation (product content and prize) with a real comprehension of the value proposition.
- Definition of the right position in the value chain (make or buy choice).
- Regulation survey
- Define and update business plans of every product.
- Identify opportunities for developing innovative products that meet the specific requirements while ensuring profitability.
- Prepare with his/her team, in collaboration with the factory, the project gates reviews of every his/her products and present the gate review to the Suez Digital Solution governance.
Competition Management :
- In cooperation with the Marketing, analyze the competitive landscape, monitoring major market players as well as emerging startups, to anticipate trends and position our solutions competitively.
- Propose strategies to maintain our competitive advantage and differentiate our offerings in the market (internal & external).
Business Planning and Execution :
- Develop and execute strategic business plans consistent with the budget, delivering a pipeline of profitable business in the short, medium, and long term.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of business plans with organizational goals and objectives.
Sales and Customer Support :
- Provide support to sales, business development, and customer support functions by offering product expertise, market insights, and strategic guidance.
- Collaborate closely with sales teams to develop effective go-to-market strategies and ensure successful product launches.
PlatformDesign, Delivery, and Maintenance:
With thesupport of the transversal Digital Factory:
- Take ownership of the end-to-end product production and development chain, from formulating the vision to defining features and design, and creating a roadmap.
- Develop and maintain the product roadmap
- Listen to and understand the needs of customers (SUEZ business units and external customers) to design new versions, ensuring technical and architectural choices, functional and operational specifications, and security aspects are addressed.
- Ensure service delivery aligns with contractual elements (quality, deadlines, budget) for build and run phases.
- Ensure customer satisfaction at all project stages.
Collaboration with Digital Factory:
- Act as the Practice leader for Product Management, defining best practice, shared processes and the animation of the Product Management community.
- Work collaboratively with the Digital Factory and Data teams to leverage digital technologies and capabilities for the development and enhancement of our digital solutions for industrial asset optimization.
