Description du poste
As the Global Project Control Director, you are not just a process guarantor; you are a global Business Process Owner (BPO).
You will assist more than 1,500 engineers on major global projects (recent examples : Portos, Elygator, Normand'Hy, Grandpuits, Exxon etc.).
Your dual mission, essential to the success of our critical projects, is structured around two major areas, firmly establishing your role as a #Careerthatmatters:
* Transformation and Harmonization (70% of the mission):
Defining Standards:
Acting as BPO for the strategic ALign program to structure and harmonize Project Control processes (scheduling, cost control outside of finance, productivity measurement).
Skill Enhancement:
Designing and delivering training to increase the maturity of regions and engineering centers worldwide, ensuring seamless cooperation.
* Operational Expertise and Consulting (30% of the mission):
Expert-Consultant Role:
Rapidly intervening (quick on-site assessments) as a high-level expert to resolve complex execution issues on multi-center projects.
Direct Support: Providing concrete assistance and solutions to regional teams, getting directly involved in field issues (engineering, procurement, subcontractor negotiation).

We are looking for a technical leader with over 10 years of experience in an EPC environment, renowned for their expertise and soft skills:
* Undisputed Technical Expertise:
Deep knowledge of EPC project control, critical path analysis, and ratios (Engineering/Construction/Procurement). Ability to measure contractor productivity.
* Transversal Skills and Communication:
Excellent communication skills, a community-oriented mindset to bring regions onboard and foster cooperation. Imposing one's opinion is forbidden; expertise serves consensus and shared discipline.
* Commitment and Versatility (Hands-on):
Willingness to be versatile and directly involved with projects and the field, moving away from a simple reporting function.
Management: Ability to manage a small team of two specialists (one for consolidated reporting, one for data management).
* International Mobility:
Willingness to travel internationally regularly (approximately 4 to 6 trips per year, plus emergency travel) for assessment and support missions.
