The Solution Development Manager plays a critical role in supporting the growth strategy of Saint Gobain North America in Data Centers. This position is responsible for the development and commercialization of solutions that satisfy the needs of Data Center Customers, supporting the go-to-market strategy execution and contributing to the rapid growth of Saint Gobain's solutions adoption in Data Centers projects in North America. The role will require extensive collaboration across multiple functions and business units, as well as collaboration with the global Data Centers support team and similar roles in other Saint Gobain's regions.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, analytical, proactive in identifying unmet needs of critical stakeholders and decision makers that influence the adoption of materials and solutions in Data Centers buildings, enabling the creation of strong relationships in the Data Center ecosystem, including owners and hyperscalers, architects, developers, contractors, consultants and regulatory bodies.

• 5+ years of product management experience, ideally with a track record of delivering results in complex, deadline-driven environments.
• Experience in the data center, hyperscale or manufacturing sectors preferred.
• Strong leadership and project management skills with the ability to prioritize, influence, and drive cross-functional collaboration.
• Analytical and curious mindset - naturally eager to dig into data, uncover insights, and solve problems creatively.
• Digitally fluent communicator - confident using Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Copilot) to craft compelling presentations, manage data, and collaborate seamlessly across teams.
• Strong proficiency with Salesforce (or other CRM platforms), Microsoft Excel, and quoting tools.
• Comfortable in a technical environment, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable strategies.
• Success navigating large, matrixed organizations and influencing across functions is preferred

• Market Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities in the data center construction sector and guide product positioning.
  • Engage with key stakeholders (architects, contractors, data center operators, owners, hyperscalers, developers, consultants, and regulatory bodies) to gather feedback and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Define product strategy tailored to data center construction, in collaboration with the technical teams in Saint Gobain North America business units and aligning with industry trends and customer needs.
  • Provide the M&A function sector specific expertise to identify acquisition targets aiming at improving Saint Gobain North America offering to Data Centers

  System Development and Technical Support

  • Collaborate with product management, R&D, and operations to make available to North America customers systems and solutions that meet data center building specifications and address identified performance requirements (e.g., cooling efficiency, fire resistance, sustainability).
  • Translate technical requirements into product specifications, ensuring compliance with data center standards (ASHRAE, Uptime Institute, LEED, etc.).
  • Develop business cases and ROI models for new product initiatives, including cost-benefit analysis and pricing strategies.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (Quality, Regulatory, Legal, Finance, Procurement, Operations) to ensure compliance and successful launches.
  • Oversee product lifecycle management, from concept and launch to performance monitoring and end-of-life decisions.
  • Champion sustainability initiatives, ensuring materials support energy efficiency, reduced carbon footprint, and regulatory compliance in data center builds.

  Field Technical Support

  • Provide technical support to sales teams, including working collaboratively with marketing functions to develop sales tools, collateral, and delivering training.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for data center solutions, coordinating technical documentation and thought leadership.

  Project Management & Systems Development

  • Manage the product portfolio, developing new products and rationalizing obsolete ones.
  • Lead new product development using methodologies such as Design Thinking, Lean Development, and Agile.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (Quality, Regulatory, Legal, Finance, Procurement, Operations) to ensure compliance and successful launches.
  • Support strategic initiatives including acquisitions, joint ventures, and partnerships.
