Manpower ST PAUL LES DURANCE recherche pour son client, un "Corrosion Engineer" (H/F) This Position demands a high degree of agility, technical expertise on corrosion-related preservation challenges, and independence to efficiently carry out the following tasks:
- Inspection: Carry out inspections as per the defined inspection plan. Each inspection shall be prepared upfront as it will cover all kinds of complex equipment; then shall be carried out very thoroughly and accurately focusing on ensuring adequacy of defined requirements and using the awarded candidate's skill and knowledge to ensure risk mitigation.
- Reporting: All visits shall be followed by a report with clear guidances translating into clear action plans, defined in collaboration with the Preservation manager.
- Follow-up: It is expected from the awarded candidate to proactively follow-up all findings up to full resolution. The ultimate goal is to ensure the integrity, reliability,and longevity of the ITER project's assets.
The Awarded candidate will assist and report to the PSI Preservation Manager in daily operations. The awarded candidate will also carry out punctual audits of contractors in charge of Preservation (e.g., ensuring contractor resources are competent and properly trained, etc).
- Profesional Experience:
6 - 9 years
- Education:
Master/Engineering degree/ eqivalent Must have ASNT Level III or II in VT or CSWIP Plant Inspection Good Knowledge of ASME B31.3 (EN 13480 is a plus) Good knowledge of O&M of standard industrial equipment Knowledge of ISO 16232, NORSOK M-501 or RCCM F-6000 API 510/570/577 would be a plus
- Language Requirements:
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
