Want to join a fast-moving company, among hard-working and convivial teams and take part in digital transformation for marketing? We are looking for a Global Marketing Performance Lead! You will be based at The Island, our office in central Paris.
Matrix is a fully internalized Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) capability, leveraging AI technologies (Machine Learning), and has been successfully rolled out in the biggest affiliates across the globe.
Matrix allows to collect all the past Marketing activities on our brands (FB campaign on Absolut, TV spot on Chivas), and measure the ROI of each activity, to then optimize the A&P Plan. Matrix is delivering already significant and tangible impact.
Your key missions
As part of the Matrix leadership team, the Global Marketing Performance Lead is accountable for helping markets make the right decision to drive higher ROI, better execution… in some of Pernod Ricard local affiliates
The Global Marketing Performance Lead leverages internalized Marketing Mix Modeling capabilities like Matrix, to follow-up progression of the ROI in all rolled-out affiliates, and build a local action plan with the markets to ensure ROI progression, Matrix recommendation adoption, media plan & campaign execution optimization.
Roles and responsibilities
Ensure markets make the right A&P decisions, based on Performance tracking tools like Matrix

Systematically Consulted for all major local A&P decisions (major brand/touchpoints reallocations)

Accountable for potential realignments / arbitrations => formulate business case with rationale, for arbitration by top MGMT

Follow-up the level of adoption of Matrix webapp, our internalized Marketing Mix Modeling tool

Ensure regular follow-ups with mid-size markets to discuss insights, adoption of Matrix Light
Accompany markets on optimizing their A&P planning

Act as a sparring partner with local Markets on media planning optimization with local media agency (mix of touchpoints, seasonality/synchronization, intensity…)

Make sure A&P choices are made according to Matrix insights, and co-build rationale for deviation
Actively influence Matrix product feature evolutions, based on market needs and industry trends

Based on learnings from local markets, prioritize to the central team, especially Product Owner, which feature makes more sense for each market

Future-proof Matrix with new trends/platforms (Gen AI, new social media platforms, new media formats etc)
Lead a global network of Marketing Performance experts in all markets where Matrix is rolled out

Inspire, convince, Evangelize to these key local stakeholders

Enable them with the right vision, trainings, tool
Consolidate our Global Media Planning/Buying practice, and share it back to the world

Make sure golden rules are applied across markets

You have 5-10 years' professional experience

Strong experience working with Marketing Mix modeling solutions

Strong expertise in Media Planning/Media buying

Strong Business - Commercial/Financial - acumen

Understands principles of advanced modeling techniques (MMM)

Experience within Media Agencies as a plus

Experience in FMCG, ideally Food & Beverage

Experience in a market/operational team is a plus

Ability to drive change

Excellent leadership skills with experience collaborating with cross-functional / cross-cultural teams

Pragmatic and capable to solve complex issues; Positive/can do mindset and solution-oriented

Data-savy: ability to manipulate many datasets (excel) and structure them for insights

Story-teller: capacity to simplify and convince (ppt skills)
