Technology and Industrial Performance Team (TIP) is an International Central Team of around 550 employees, based on several sites in France and abroad. Its mission is to define and implement the Group's energy, industrial performance, and environmental roadmap, while providing technical support to the Group's plants, particularly in Construction businesses such as Gypsum, Insulation, Mortars and Glass.
TIP is also responsible for the R&D Programs for products and processes in the Construction businesses, managing strategic investments and allocating capacity between countries.
Description du poste
Reporting to the TIP Mortars Director within the Saint-Gobain TIP Direction, you are supporting several countries (6-10) and plants (20-30) in improving their performance and in achieving successfully their technical projects. You are also a contributing to enriching the content of the support offer to the countries and to animate the training programs promoted by the TIP Mortars Direction.
Main responsibilities are:
- Support 6-10 countries for the Mortars activities in operations improvement and capex/technical project.
- Animate as process owner or contribute to the development of transversal topics in the following areas : Engineering, Industrial Performance, Digital & Industry 4.0, Environment & Sustainability.
- Be a skill trainer in the frame of the Mortars training programs (Unicampus, on site technical training, e learning)
Main tasks are:
- Support & coach the Country GM, the Country Industrial Managers and Plant Managers in all improvement activities specific to the Mortars Operations
- Support the countries' main technical project (from new equipment to a full green field plant)
- Manage the transversal projects under your responsibility
- Train the Country GM, the Country Industrial Managers and Plant Managers in all skills related to activities specific to the Mortars Operations
Key indicators are:
- In your countries : improvement on main operational KPI - "10 Mortars efficiencies"
- In your countries : main capex & projects in time and in budget
- On the Mortars scope : advancement of the special transversal projects under your responsibility
- On the Mortars scope : improvement of your training competences and WCM awards
Description du profil
Job Requirements:
- Engineering Degree from a Top School
- 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement approach and/or operations
- Fully fluent in English, some French welcome, other languages would be a plus
