Description du poste
Our Travel Retail Europe Direction is looking for its new Finance Director, by march 2025. The Finance Director TR Europe will be a "Key Business Partner" to understand the complex business environment of the region and to adapt to each market. He/She will act as a "Key Functional Leader" for all projects happening in the region and to oversee financial operations and driving financial performance of each TR market across the Europe region, as well as, to support the management team in implementing Brand Strategy and to influence important decisions in business monitoring and organization.
This role requires a strong understanding of financial management, analysis, and reporting, as well as the ability to provide strategic financial guidance to regional and local teams and a key point of contact for central HQ too. He/she will manage a team of 2 direct reports. This position will be reporting to the Managing Director of TR Europe, and functionally to the CFO Global Travel Retail.
Description du profil
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management, preferably within the travel retail, consumer goods, or related industries
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Proven experience in financial reporting and consolidation, including familiarity with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP)
- Excellent analytical skills and provide actionable insights
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong leadership and people management abilities, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Willing to travel up to 20% of the time as well as for regional & worldwide seminars/meetings
