Description du poste

As a member of the Procurement and Supply Chain Excellence team, in a development context, the Expediting & Quality control Coordinator ensures supplier and subcontractor performance in terms of quality, costs, delivery times, and execution according to the contract. You will coordinate inspection and quality control actions to ensure the compliance of ordered equipment, materials, services, and deliverables.

Your main missions will be :

Expediting Missions :
- Deadline Management and Review:

- Ensure compliance with contractual deadlines for ordered equipment (QC1, QC2, QC3).

- Review the contract (standards, technical specifications) and acknowledge receipt of the order.

- Verify supplier and main contract documents.

Progress Monitoring:

- Report progress against the contractual schedule, monitor detailed progress of manufacturing and sub-orders, and update the schedule based on findings.

- Testing, Packaging, and Problem Management: Review required tests, packaging, and shipping instructions. Analyze and manage potential delays, follow up with suppliers on deadlines.

- Inform the Supply Chain Project Manager and Project Manager of any identified delays.

- Updates and Summaries: Keep the order progress updated to identify any deviations from the initial delivery schedule and propose corrective actions.

- Prepare a weekly summary of critical points ("Warning Sheet") with corrective action proposals for the Supply Chain Project Manager, buyers, Project Manager, or suppliers.

- Missions and Indicators:

- Organize expediting missions at supplier's premises.

- Develop indicators on supplier deadlines and/or corrective/preventive actions, define priorities, and suggest ways to reduce delays.

- Record supplier statistics mainly for KPI on supplier deadlines followed in expediting coordination.

Validation and Coordination:

- Review and validate supplier quality control documents (inspection and test plan, quality control plan, test procedures, welding procedures, certificate of conformity).

- Coordinate quality inspectors and provide them with complete and up-to-date documentation for equipment, materials, and services inspection.

Follow-up and Quality:

- Monitor the resolution of reservations and inform the Supply Chain Project Manager for coordination with teams under the PM's authority.

- Ensure the quality of ordered equipment according to the contract (required materials, quality of work, compliance with plans, compliance with control and test results according to technical specifications and applicable standards).

- Manage and resolve non-conformities and specific points required by the inspection program.

Coordinationmissions:
- As a specialist in the quality control and expediting field, you support the Procurement and Supply Chain Excellence manager in the selection of new profiles (internal/external)
- Contribute to the onboarding of new internal or external quality control and expediting engineers mobilized for a project
- According to the size and the schedule of the project you will have to coordinate internal and/or external quality control and expediting engineers.


Description du profil

Minimum 5 years of experience in Expediting and Quality Control on international EP or EPC projects.
Experience in water treatment, environment, Oil & Gas, construction, energy, industry, mining, etc.
Bac + 5 Engineering degree
Good communication skills to effectively coordinate with suppliers, stakeholders, and team members
Ability to quickly identify issues and implement effective solutions
Leadership skills to guide and mentor junior expeditors and ensure team alignment
Strong team spirit.
Good interpersonal and collaborative skills
Rigor, and analytical abilities to summarize and communicate.
French and English - Fluent in speaking and writing
