BAGS EVENT ORGANIZER & ENGINEER TRAINEEDECATHLON

BAGS PRODUCT ENGINEER TRAINEE ((Mission : 6 months - full time from june 2026)

BAGS is looking for a trainee as a Event organizer and bags engineer for the team.

You want to be part of the FUTURE of BAGS, this project is for you.

The BAGS design office (industrial process accompanying the design, development and industrialization of Decathlon bags, covers and luggage) is looking for its future product engineer.

At Decathlon, your mission is to help us accelerate on strategies within the BAGS project to better design, develop, and validate exclusive and innovative bags for our users worldwide. Leveraging your shared vision with the sports team, your collaborative work on product specifications, and your market knowledge, we expect you to contribute to the below areas.

Your Main Responsibilities : "Bags Open days" organizer and bags engineer internship

BAGS Open days organisation

• Each year the team organises one day presentation and meeting of the updates in Bags team. This event is opened to all bags actors as well as the people from the company from other processes. (event in october)

• You take in charge the organisation of the event. As an organizer you manage the communication, logistic and planning of the event.

• You'll be connected with all bags team members from all the site. The event takes place in Kiptadium, Tourcoing (bags process office)

Bags engineer : PE board sustainability

• In collaboration with a product engineer you work on the characterisation of the PE boards (which brings rigidity to bags) used in Bags and with the Plastics team. You objective is to define the good manufacturing process of the PE boards and improve the environmental impact of the component.

• You'll be in collaboration with product engineers, suppliers and sustainable leader.
