The Manufacturing Engineer Intern (MEI) will work alongside the engineering team. The MEI will lead or support projects in engineering which may include but is not limited to process improvement, troubleshooting, optimization, process and equipment IQ/OQ/PQ validations, routine (autonomous) maintenance initiatives, and/or quality related corrective action investigations. The MEI may also participate in WCM activities for the engineering department.
Essential Functions
- Work on processes or machines under the guidance of engineering out on the production floor.
- Lead/assist in IQ/QQ/PQ activities such as risk assessments, protocol and report writing, processing and troubleshooting.
- Assist with WCM activities such as data collection, analysis, and summarizing findings and improvement ideas leading to eliminating scrap or improving processing efficiency.
- Assist in the development and deployment of autonomous maintenance program.
- Lead/assist new or ongoing corrective action investigations (CAPAs).

Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in accredited college/university pursuing Bachelors of Engineering degree.
- 3+ Engineering courses
- Previous Manufacturing experience is a plus
