PURPOSE
Reporting to the Professional Services Category Manager, the IT junior buyer is supporting her in the sourcing & in the negotiation of services at a global level in accordance with the Group sourcing strategy and initiatives.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITES OF THE ROLE:
She/ He will be involved on different procurement projects and at different steps of the sourcing process led by the IT Procurement Category Manager in Saint-Gobain GDI Department (Group Digital & IT).
You will participate to project tenders, financial & contractual negotiations, supplier relationship management & external resource management in the context of Vendor Management System.
The IT junior purchaser will act as a key member of the Group Procurement Digital & IT team to achieve Saint-Gobain procurement transformation and contribution to the group profitability.
She/ He will be in contact within Saint-Gobain with:
- Group Digital & IT Procurement Category Managers.
- Group Digital & IT Department - IT internal customers.
- Finance, Legal & Cybersecurity department.
- The role will be based in Paris La Défense (La Tour Saint-Gobain).
- Allow to work 2 days per week remotely.
- The internship duration should be minimum 6 months starting from July 2026.

PROFILE:
To be successful in this role, She/ He will demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
Educational Degree
- Master's degree in business administration, Engineering or equivalence (Bac +5).
- Specialized master's degree in Purchasing is appreciated.
- Proficient in English.
Hard skills
- Good knowledge of Excel, Word & PowerPoint tools.
Soft skills
- Excellent communication, team spirit.
- Rigorous, proactive and self-sufficient.
- Customer service and result oriented.
