PURPOSE

Reporting to the Professional Services Category Manager, the IT junior buyer is supporting her in the sourcing & in the negotiation of services at a global level in accordance with the Group sourcing strategy and initiatives.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITES OF THE ROLE:
She/ He will be involved on different procurement projects and at different steps of the sourcing process led by the IT Procurement Category Manager in Saint-Gobain GDI Department (Group Digital & IT).

You will participate to project tenders, financial & contractual negotiations, supplier relationship management & external resource management in the context of Vendor Management System.

The IT junior purchaser will act as a key member of the Group Procurement Digital & IT team to achieve Saint-Gobain procurement transformation and contribution to the group profitability.

She/ He will be in contact within Saint-Gobain with:

• Group Digital & IT Procurement Category Managers.
• Group Digital & IT Department - IT internal customers.
• Finance, Legal & Cybersecurity department.

• The role will be based in Paris La Défense (La Tour Saint-Gobain).
• Allow to work 2 days per week remotely.
• The internship duration should be minimum 6 months starting from July 2026.

PROFILE:

To be successful in this role, She/ He will demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

Educational Degree

• Master's degree in business administration, Engineering or equivalence (Bac +5).
• Specialized master's degree in Purchasing is appreciated.
• Proficient in English.

Hard skills

• Good knowledge of Excel, Word & PowerPoint tools.

Soft skills

• Excellent communication, team spirit.
• Rigorous, proactive and self-sufficient.
• Customer service and result oriented.
