Description du poste
- Time on Production Floor-knows processes and equipment.
- Monitors performance and achieves objectives related to safety, quality, environmental efficacy, timelines and cost effectiveness of work within the shift(s).
- Provide leadership, direction, and scheduling to members of shift.
- Ensure employees meet standards for production and safety.
- Manage and utilize all available resources to achieve production and productivity goals.
- Understand and consistently enforces company policies and practices.
- Identify opportunities for training and development of employees.
- Drive continuous improvement and document change.
Description du profil
- Must be able to work 1st shift, M-F, 6:00am to 2:30pm
- High School diploma
- 1 or more years of manufacturing supervision experience.
- Proficient with measuring equipment.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, project management and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of products, equipment, and processes.
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft office, spreadsheet software and QAD).
- Must have critical thinking skills, using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses or alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. Must be a strategic thinker and have a strong focus on profitability.
- Strong interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Project).
- Must be able to work well in a team environment, adapt to change and obtain the ability to directly influence in a positive manner.
