The Technical R&D Scientist plays a key role in supporting the development and industrialization of PET radiopharmaceuticals, contributing to innovation, robustness, and compliance across the product lifecycle. Positioned at the interface between R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing, the role supports the translation of laboratory developments into scalable and GMP‑compliant solutions, while ensuring scientific rigor, operational reliability, and alignment with project and business objectives.

Your role:
- Design, plan, and perform scientific experiments related to PET radiopharmaceutical manufacturing and/or Quality Control (QC) activities.
- Analyze, interpret, and evaluate scientific and technical data, draw conclusions, and report results internally.
- Actively contribute to team meetings and scientific/technical discussions.
- Ensure clear understanding of objectives and deliverables and deliver high‑quality laboratory work, proactively seeking support and coaching from the TRD Manager or technical experts when needed.
- Proactively communicate key issues, risks, or critical topics to the TRD Manager and relevant project stakeholders.
- Prepare accurate, structured, and compliant documentation in line with internal guidelines, and support documentation and literature reviews as required.
- Contribute to the transfer of analytical and/or manufacturing procedures in an international, multi‑site environment.
- Support process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives within assigned projects.
- Ensure proper maintenance of laboratory resources (equipment calibration and maintenance, method validation, consumables management).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant workspace and ensure timely and accurate logbook completion.
- Strictly follow SOPs, GLP, GMP, safety standards, and AdAcAp Molecular Imaging / Siemens Healthineers guidelines.
Fixed term contract : 12 months
This role requires potential involvement in shift work (including night shift) as per project needs.
Your expertise:
- Master's degree required in medicinal, organic, complexation and/or analytical chemistry; PhD and/or specialization in radiochemistry desirable.
- Minimum 2 years of proven laboratory experience as a principal scientist in R&D, within medicinal or industrial chemistry, pharmaceutical production, radiochemical and/or radiopharmaceutical development.
- Strong scientific and technical knowledge in synthetic, analytical and pharmaceutical disciplines, with knowledge of GMP production.
- Hands‑on experience with laboratory and analytical tools (HPLC, GC, TLC, etc.) and related software (e.g. Chromeleon, miniGITA).
- Awareness of safe handling of chemicals, hazardous materials and equipment.
- Desirable experience in covalent and/or complexation chemistry in the radiopharmaceutical field, including automated synthesis and GMP manufacturing processes, as well as GMP…
