What's the job?
The Advanced Process Development Engineer, reporting to the Principal Advanced Process Development Engineer, supports R&D efforts at Saint-Gobain Research North America. The role exists to develop, implement, and industrialize advanced processes, including digital asset creation, design-for-manufacturing workflows, and emerging manufacturing technologies - to enable new product introduction and enhancement across the building materials portfolio.
Working cross-functionally with R&D, product design, manufacturing, business teams, suppliers, and external partners, the Advanced Process Development Engineer contributes technical expertise, drives process development activities, and supports the transfer of validated technologies into production environments. The role requires hands on experimentation, data driven decision making, project collaboration, and consistent delivery against technical, time-bound, and quality objectives.
