Join Saint-Gobain's North American Product Stewardship & Compliance team as a Toxicology Specialist. In this role, you will support hazard communication, toxicological data review, and product risk evaluation to help ensure our products are safe for employees, customers, and the environment while advancing our purpose of Making the World a Better Home.
Regulatory Toxicology
- Conduct Tier 1 hazard assessments for substances across the product life cycle.
- Gather, summarize, and interpret toxicology data to support product stewardship reviews and internal customer inquiries.
- Build knowledge of U.S. and international toxicology assessment frameworks, as well as company products, processes, systems, and policies.
How You Will Contribute
- Execute assigned projects and tasks with guidance from the supervisor and established procedures.
- Support compliance programs and initiatives in line with company standards and business needs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with EHS, marketing, quality, R&D, product stewardship, compliance, and customer support teams.
This role supports multiple North American and global businesses, manufacturing sites, R&D teams, and the SGNA EHS&S organization in a complex regulatory environment.

Description du profil
- Bachelor's degree in Toxicology, Pharmacology, Biology, or a related scientific field required. Master's degree preferred.
- Industry or government experience preferred, including either a B.S. with 3+ years of experience or an M.S. with 1+ year of experience in toxicology or a related area.
- Basic understanding of toxicological data retrieval and interpretation.
- Proficiency with standard office software, including Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
- Advanced technical writing skills preferred.
- Strong organizational, listening, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
- Travel to R&D, business, manufacturing sites, and professional meetings may be required up to 5%.
