Internship topic:Algorithmic improvement / module integration of an IC parasitic extraction tool (Calibre xL).

Your Mission

Siemens is seeking an intern to join our Calibre xL team, specializing in parasitic inductance extraction for microelectronics. This internship is aimed at students passionate about software development and interested in numerical modeling/simulation of on-chip electromagnetic interactions.

In this context:

  • You will design and implement new components in the Calibre source code.

Description du profil

Keys to success

  • You are pursuing higher education in engineering (master's degree or equivalent experience) with a focus on electronics, physics, mathematics, or software development, in France.

  • You have good proficiency in C++, Python and/or Matlab. Experience in software development with Linux and Git is a plus.

  • You have a good level in mathematics and physics. Knowledge of linear algebra and numerical methods. Knowledge of electronics and/or electromagnetics is a plus.

  • You are rigorous, autonomous, have good analytical skills, are curious, and a quick learner.

  • Your interpersonal and communication skills in both French and English enable effective collaboration within the team.
