As a Senior Migration Consultant, you will work with customers and partners, guiding them through planning, preparing and delivery of complex transformation and migration projects based on varying customer needs. You will contribute to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationship with C-level executives to shape their cloud migration and transformation roadmap.
On a daily basis, you will work together with customers to assess their organizational readiness to perform the cloud adoption. You will help them to define goals, objectives and business outcomes. You will develop and align cloud vision together with relevant stakeholders to meet with those outcomes. You identify solutions that help a customer, partner, or an internal team overcome technical as well as organizational challenges. You will collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to support pre-sales activities.
This role is a customer-facing role requiring the ability to travel for projects.

Key job responsibilities
- Convey the value of the AWS Migration Acceleration Program and other investment programs related to migration and modernization to senior customer stakeholders.
- Engage senior customer technical and business decision makers on the benefits of migrating to AWS.
- Help customers make the case for change and develop business cases for migrating to AWS.
- Deliver workshops that help customers assess their current state, define their future state, and develop cloud migration plans.
- Build compelling proposals to help customers achieve business value from migrations, then create and deliver commercial agreements to customers.
- Log and track opportunities in our sales opportunity tracking system.
- Keep management updated on the status of the migration go-to-market in your assigned territory using Amazon writing mechanisms.
- Oversee customer migration success post-commercial commitment.
- Conduct customer briefings, present at customer and AWS events, further AWS thought leadership in the IT and business transformation domain.
