Description du poste

  • Actively engaging and selling SG products and solutions to retail and construction customers in order to deliver sales revenue targets.
  • Building sustainable customer relationships in order to maximise market advantage by actively securing retail and construction opportunities.
  • Building sustainable customer relationships in order to maximise market advantage by actively securing project opportunities (engagement with contractors, architects and developers)
  • Identify and engage project stakeholders to ensure that SG solutions are specified
  • Awareness of broader SG proposition to pass on potential opportunities presented
  • Implement and drive trade marketing activations.
  • To track and manage customer queries for improved customer service
  • Responsibility for safety aspects within area of responsibility
  • Responsibility for achievement of working capital within area of responsibility.
  • Update Salesforce in terms of sales activities and adherence to Company reporting procedure/commercial admin systems, offering appropriate feedback and information.
  • Support for customers with regards to product performance in-line with Company guidelines.

To execute defined commercial strategy and deliver top line sales revenue in order to maximise customer accounts performance, in line with company objectives and strategy. The job incumbent will be working as part of an integrated Exports Southern Africa team to drive product propositioning from the manufacturing plants in the region to facilitate demand generation and customer satisfaction.

Description du profil

Degree in construction/building disciplines and/Sales & Marketing. 3 years experience in a external sales role is essential, preferably construction/engineering industry a valid drivers licence as this role will be travelling and visiting customers. Good command of English and other local language(s) will set you apart with your commercial awareness - ability to identify opportunities and action. Exposure to operating within a corporate environment and broader understanding of market dynamics.Understanding of technical solutions and ability to translate for commercial benefit will ensure success in this role.
