Description du poste

The Territory Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and generating sustained demand for Residential Roofing products across an assigned territory. This role serves as a key representative of the organization, developing strong relationships with contractors, builders, architects, specifiers, owners, and distribution partners to position our products as the preferred choice in the market.

As a field-based sales professional, the Territory Manager develops and executes territory strategies that support business objectives, increase market penetration, and improve sales performance. Working closely with the Regional Sales Manager, the individual will identify opportunities, influence project specifications, and promote product solutions that create value for customers and drive profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Achieve sales growth objectives and meet or exceed established performance and incentive goals.

Develop and implement territory sales plans and strategies to maximize market opportunities and customer engagement.

Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, architects, specifiers, owners, homebuilders, and distribution partners.

Generate "pull-through" demand by influencing project stakeholders and partnering with distributors to convert opportunities into sales.

Promote and sell roofing product solutions within residential construction markets.

Increase specifications of value-added products and improve project closing rates.

Identify, monitor, and track construction projects from planning through bid stages to maximize sales opportunities.

Conduct product presentations, educational programs, customer meetings, and sales promotions with industry professionals and trade partners.

Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customer solutions and support territory growth initiatives.

Maintain accurate sales activity and project information using company-provided tools and systems.

This is a field-based role with approximately 75% travel throughout the assigned territory.

Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees' wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $72,000 to $108,000 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 45% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $104,400 to $156,600. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.

Experience

Minimum of 4 years of professional sales experience, including customer relationship management, sales presentations, and successful sales closing.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Demonstrated ability to build rapport and develop strong customer relationships through networking and consultative selling.

Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Ability to manage competitive market conditions and effectively influence multiple customer audiences.

Knowledge of commercial and residential construction practices preferred.

Additional Requirements

Valid driver's license required.

Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory (approximately 75%).

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and sales leadership.

Must live in territory.
