What's the job?

**The ideal candidate will sit out of our Malvern PA headquarters, but open to this role sitting in our Northboro, MA office**

As a vital member of Saint-Gobain North America's Communications team, the Publishing Supervisor will be responsible for working with colleagues on the internal communications team, as well as with other business units and functional stakeholders to ensure the timely and effective delivery for all internal publications for Saint-Gobain North America. This includes, but is not limited to, content scheduling, writing and editing, asset development and formatting, stakeholder review and approval process management, performance analysis and action plans to improve internal communication effectiveness and engagement.
This role is also responsible for the continual maintenance and optimization of the North America editorial calendar and publishing schedules for all internal communication topics and channels, along with managing a team of Content Leads. As such, the individual must be highly organized, with a willingness to roll up their sleeves and take action to deliver assigned responsibilities with creativity and enthusiasm. This is an exciting opportunity to utilize strong teamwork skills along with the ability to work collaboratively within diverse teams, work groups and across the organization to achieve communication goals.
The role of Publishing Supervisor also requires understanding requirements and opportunities to enhance audience reach and engagement, project management for the implementation of new tools and technology and ongoing maintenance of existing communication tools and platforms utilized by the department.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing integrated publishing schedules across all internal communication platforms for the Region, including but not limited to Poppulo, Liferay and Sharepoint, Skyline NA Mobile App, Scala software (SGTV) and various plant communication toolkits (print and digital)
- Adherence to the Saint-Gobain brand charter across all content and channels.
- Efficient and effective deployment of the content strategy as defined by Director of Internal Communications.
- Collaborating with Communications colleagues to develop synergies, reduce timelines, and produce best-in-class deliverables
- Staying informed on Internal Communications technology, best practices, trends, and new opportunities

What do you bring?

Bachelor's degree in business, communications, marketing or related field is required
- 5+ years prior work experience in communication or marketing in large highly matrixed organization
- 2+ years supervising direct reports
- 2+ years in construction or building product industry
- Intermediate MS Suite (Word, Excel & PPT) is required
- Communications and/or Marketing Project Management experience required
- Experience with Communication Software: Poppulo, Scala, SharePoint, Liferay, Canva, or other similar tools and Reporting Tools: Smartsheet, Basecamp, or other similar is strongly preferred
- Required to be an effective communicator with the ability to foster an environment of teamwork with designated project groups
- Customer focused and ability to demonstrate effective time management and organizational skills.
- Experience in managing an editorial/ publishing schedule for an in-house corporate communications or marketing department.
- Experience writing across integrated platforms such as internal newsletters, traditional print, advertising, PR, social media, and digital properties
- Strong teamwork mindset and the ability to work collaboratively within diverse teams, work groups and across the organization to achieve communication goals is a must
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines is critical for success
