Position Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for delivering capital projects within Saint_Gobain North America, with accountability for scope, cost, schedule, risk, safety, and quality. This role executes projects using the stage-gated Project Execution Methodology (PEM) and partners with Business and Operations to deliver approved solutions within established governance.
Project Leadership & Safety
· Lead assigned capital projects or defined scopes through execution
· Serve as primary point of contact with accountability for project outcomes
· Ensure execution aligns with approved strategies, governance, and safety standards
· Partner with site leadership and EHS to support safe, compliant construction and startup
Project Execution & Governance
· Execute projects through the PEM/FEL stage-gated process
· Prepare gate deliverables and support readiness reviews
· Maintain alignment across scope, business case, and approvals
Business Partnership
· Collaborate with Business and Operations to define scope and execution plans
· Ensure solutions support operability, safety, and total cost of ownership
· Support business case development as scope evolves
Cost, Risk & Change Management
· Manage estimates, schedules, forecasts, and risk registers
· Apply change control and escalate deviations as needed
· Identify and mitigate risks to cost, schedule, and performance
Contracting & Partner Management
· Support execution of contracting strategies (EPC, EPCM, CM, Design-Bid-Build)
· Manage AE/EPC firms, contractors, and vendors
· Ensure compliance with contracts and company standards
Cross-Functional Leadership
· Coordinate cross-functional teams across Engineering, Construction, Procurement, EHS, Finance, and Operations
· Communicate project status, risks, and key issues to stakeholders

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $111,000 to $177,000 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 15% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $127,650 to $203,550. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.

EducationBachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Civil, or related discipline) required; Master's degree in Engineering or Business (MS, MEng, or MBA) preferred.
Required Qualifications
7-10+ years of experience managing industrial or manufacturing capital projects, including projects up to $10M+ within established governance frameworks
Proven leadership managing multidisciplinary teams across all phases of capital projects
Experience leading AE and EPC partners, including scope definition, deliverable review, and compliance with standards
End-to-end capital project lifecycle experience, including FEL/PEM, execution, construction, commissioning, and turnover
Demonstrated success developing and executing contracting strategies
Experience partnering with Business and Operations to deliver value-driven capital solutions
Strong leadership capability with sound judgment and decision-making skills
Solid understanding of cost, schedule, risk, and change management principles
Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersStrong collaboration and stakeholder management abilities
Familiarity with capital project governance, FEL/PEM stage-gate processes, and industry best practices
PMP or equivalent project management certification
Travel Requirements
Must live in Eastern Standard Time Zone
Ability to travel 30-60% to project sites and partner offices across the U.S. and Canada to support project development, execution, outages, and startup activities
Travel may increase up to approximately 80% for short durations during critical project phases
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of cost estimating, scheduling, and risk management aligned with engineering maturity
Experience with both greenfield and brownfield capital projects
