Description du poste
Lead and direct plant-wide production activities to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, efficiency, and reliability objectives. This role partners across departments to drive operational excellence, support continuous improvement initiatives, maintain compliance with safety and environmental standards, and ensure business performance targets are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and direct plant-wide production activities, ensuring all products meet or exceed process specifications, quality requirements, and business performance targets.
- Own and drive results for safety, quality, delivery, cost, efficiency, and reliability, ensuring alignment with plant and organizational goals.
- Collaborate with Department Managers to coordinate work schedules, assignments, and production requirements across departments.
- Maintain strong labor relations through consistent administration of policies, open communication, and treating all employees with dignity and respect.
- Manage and control labor costs, material usage, and production variances.
- Support development and adherence to operating budgets and internal controls.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve cost efficiency and operational effectiveness.
- Lead and sustain WCM and continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing structured tools and methodologies.
- Drive loss elimination, root cause problem solving, and focused improvement projects.
- Support implementation of autonomous and operator maintenance practices.
- Lead and promote a safe, healthy, and environmentally compliant workplace.
- Drive behavioral safety practices and proactive hazard identification.
- Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, environmental regulations, and sustainability standards.
- Maintain adherence to waste management and recycling programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of plant operations.
Description du profil
- BS Degree in Engineering preferred and/or 7+ years of supervisory or managerial experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Requires a strong understanding of production operations, systems, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, WCM).
- Demonstrated leadership capability in driving operational performance, financial results, and talent development.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and motivate teams at all levels.
- Must exhibit strong competencies in safety leadership, organizational effectiveness, problem-solving, and change management.
- Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and enterprise systems.
- Must be committed to achieving results safely while fostering a high-performance, team-oriented culture.
- Military service or demonstrated military leadership experience is a plus.
