This is a newly created position for Program Manager Product Stewardship & Compliance (PS&C), a well-rounded candidate within the SGNA Product Stewardship Team. The ideal candidate would have experience in Product Stewardship, Compliance and Hazard Communication. This candidate would work with the SGNA PS&C Team, Toxicology, R&D, Sales and Compliance.

Essential Functions

• Provide product stewardship, guidance and expertise to businesses regarding compliance with EPA, REACH, Prop 65 and other global regulations, including PFAS, that govern Saint-Gobain Products.
• Advise sites and R&D throughout North America on Product Stewardship strategy in all stages of Innovation while supporting the internal Stage Gate Process.
• Author transparency documentation from Health Product Declarations to Declare Labels, to Safety Datasheets as well as serve as key contact to provide regulatory intelligence on current and upcoming regulations for Product Stewardship.
• Support training and development to the teams for all applicable locations throughout North American sites as well as the SGNA PS&C Core Team representatives.
• Provide regulatory and Haz Com Subject Matter Expertise to fulfill requests/inquiries for North American Business Units.
• Lead continuous improvement projects related to SDS authoring and inventory management.
• Required to maintain up to date knowledge of the country and state-specific legislation and ensure that the company's manufactured products' SDS and labeling reflect current regulatory requirements.
• Interact with suppliers to obtain composition information or discuss product stewardship issues as needed
• Support hazard communication needs of hazard assessments, product stewardship reviews and product assessments.
• Obtain, evaluate and enter compositional, physical chemical, toxicological, environmental, and regulatory information in SDS authoring systems and generate documents according to established SOPs and workflow.

Bachelor's Degree + 7 years of experience or master's Degree + 3 years of experience in Physical Sciences such as Chemistry, Chemical or Environmental Engineering, Industrial Hygiene and Toxicology, or other related fields. Biology is also acceptable.

• Relevant work experience in Product Stewardship, Environmental Compliance, Hazard Communication, Product Technical Services or Industrial Research & Development required.
• 5-10 years of progressive experience supporting Product Stewardship and Regulatory Compliance, Risk Management, EHS, and/or Sustainability is required.
• Experience with authoring Transparency documentation such as SDS, HPD, Declare Labels for EPDs.
• Strong knowledge, understanding and proficiency and practical experience in the following regulations: EPS, REACH, TSCA, RoHs, Prop65 and other global regulations, including PFAS
• Strong computer, technical writing and presentation skills.
• Team player who works well in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiar with using MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.
• Experience using Product Stewardship software is highly preferred.
• Experience with Stage Gate tracking platforms and ability to collaborate with R&D across all gates as needed preferred.
