What's the job?
The Sr. Manager of Pricing leads the development and execution of pricing strategies to drive profitable growth, competitiveness, and value realization across siding products portfolio. This role should partner closely with finance, sales, and product leadership to ensure pricing decisions align with business objectives, market dynamics, and product value in the market.
· Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Logistics and Finance to develop, implement, and monitor the performance of pricing strategies to maximize achievement of the business objectives.
· Work with Sales and Product Management to set price levels in accordance with business strategy to maximize profitability.
· Project management and reporting on annual pricing review
o Analyze relevant market data and various production costs and recommend price adjustments
o Ensure all deliverables are planned and timelines are met
o Work with Product Management and Sales to ensure any price adjustment is realized
· Lead the BU pricing team that develops, administers, monitors, and maintains all pricing-related activities for the assigned business activities to ensure accuracy and data integrity of all pricing information. This includes data collection, synchronization, analysis, and legal compliance and control.
· Responsible for the leadership, coaching, ongoing feedback, and professional development of the BU pricing team through our company's culture of Trust, Empowerment, and Collaboration.
· Lead initiatives with teams to identify and implement streamlined and improved processes and procedures that result in increased sales and optimal customer support and services.
· Facilitate comprehensive price programs and administration processes that ensure all pricing-related activities are addressed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with all company policies.
o Initiate and administer monthly, quarterly and annual rebate programs
o Ensure IV agreements and claims are accurately recorded and processed
• Strategically deploy pricing design programs for the assigned business activities.
o Define the methodology to gather necessary information to support pricing objectives and perform in-depth evaluation of price structure and strategies.
o Bring innovative solutions to drive performance improvements.
o Project manage the pricing design initiative for Siding Products and ensure risks are managed while achieving the stated objectives of the initiative.
· Drive visibility to key metrics and performance analytics around results and actionable opportunities.
o Establish and monitor profitability performance at various dimensions (ie, product, customer, region, etc) relative to financial performance targets
o Monitor key performance indicators along with facilitating a regular cadence of reports monitoring the performance of pricing initiatives and price changes to ensure that business objectives are achieved.
