The Role

The Operational Excellence Manager delivers measurable operational improvements by leading loss identification and eradication initiatives, coaching pillar leaders, and ensuring sustainable business impact. The Operational Excellence Manager champions cultural change, challenges the status quo and aligns improvement efforts with the company's corporate strategies.

  • Facilitate Steering Committees to align safety, quality, delivery, cost and people site priorities, review progress, and ensure accountability to KPIs.
  • Own and maintain the Deployment Plan and Roadmap, integrating pillar activities with the plant's strategic objectives and drive overall project execution.
  • Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Kaizen events, and problem-solving workshops to eliminate chronic losses.

Expected Outcomes

  • Execute, deliver and sustain NMS- Net Manufacturing Savings improvements and validated cost saving
  • Reduction of chronic losses and measurable improvement in key plant KPIs
  • Enhanced engagement, capability, and support for pillar teams and engineer
  • Lead efforts of activities from the plant's internal assessment with OPEX and TIP NA support to ensure implementation of actions are effective

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $92,000 to $142,000 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 12% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is$103,040 to $159,040. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.

Requirements

  • Associates/Technical degree in Engineering, Operations or related field, required
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Business, or related field, preferred
  • Six Sigma/Lean Green Belt, preferred
  • Certified Manufacturing Engineer, preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing environment, required
