Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring all mechanical and electrical equipment operates at optimal performance while maintaining high standards of workplace organization and housekeeping. This role supports operational excellence through effective preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and continuous improvement efforts. Success in this position contributes directly to achieving key performance metrics, including Yield, Equipment Availability, and Preventive Maintenance (PM) Compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Hands-on troubleshooting and repair of all extrusion related equipment to improve safety, quality and efficiency within all departments including Blending.
Answering line calls from production to troubleshoot extrusion equipment problems.
Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment in facility.
Use SAP to close out work orders.

Description du profil
- 5 years hands on experience in industrial repair and maintenance and sound understanding of all OSHA regulations.
- Journeyman's card or equivalent experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Desire to continuously improve technical skills, efficiency, and overall maintenance performance.
