We are seeking a Product Specialist to support the development and commercialization of custom filtration solutions for the medical market. In this cross-functional role, you will work closely with customers, Sales, Design Engineering, Application Engineering, Operations, and Finance to ensure technically feasible, manufacturable, and commercially successful solutions.

Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, you will play a key role utilizing your technical and commercial knowledge, in the end-to-end quoting and pricing process, help identify market growth opportunities, and drive collaboration across functions to strengthen product knowledge, business continuity, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities include:

Pricing Management

  • Support the development and execution of pricing strategies that enhance profitability and competitiveness.
  • Prepare pricing assessments in collaboration with Customer Service, Engineering, Finance, and manufacturing teams.
  • Analyze pricing trends, margins, and business drivers to develop recommendations.
  • Support pricing decisions for new and existing business in accordance with company pricing policies.
  • Coordinate pricing workflows within CRM systems, including regulatory and risk considerations.

Commercial & Customer Support

  • Support the preparation of quotations, commercial proposals, and customer communications.
  • Partner with Sales and Application Engineering to align proposed solutions with business objectives and pricing strategy.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities to advance customer programs from concept through production readiness.
  • Ensure alignment on project scope, timing, deliverables, and customer expectations.

Market & Application Research

  • Conduct market and application research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities.
  • Identify target applications, customer segments, and regional market opportunities.
  • Support the development of business plans, product positioning, and value propositions.

Product Knowledge & Stewardship

  • Drive collaboration across Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, Operations, and Supply Chain functions.
  • Develop technical training and product knowledge resources for internal teams.
  • Support product lifecycle management, change management initiatives, and ongoing product stewardship activities.

Certain locations require pay information be provided in job postings. Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees'wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $81,500 to $126,500 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 10% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $89,600 to $139,100. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.

Description du profil

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Marketing or other technical related field is required. Masters preferred.
  • 3+ years experience commercial experience in a manufacturing organization and experience working with technical products and interfacing with customers.
  • Experience working with the medical component or medical device industry is preferred.
  • Experience using data and analytics tools to support decision making.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce.com or similar) in managing quote requests and pricing process.
  • Understanding of manufacturability constraints and production considerations
  • Strong ability to prioritize, manage and track work across multiple projects and stakeholders
  • Ability to develop commercial judgment (balancing customer needs, cost, and risk).
  • Willingness to take initiative and continuously learn in a technical and commercial environment
  • Experience working in or alongside Engineering, Manufacturing, or Application Engineering teams
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making
  • Able to travel up to 20% for trade shows and customer visits where may be required.
