Description du poste
*Airbus Commercial Aircraft* is looking for a *Aerodynamics Specialist (f/m)* to join our *Aircraft Aerodynamics* based in *Toulouse, France.*
**Job Description**
You will join *the * *Aircraft Aerodynamics* team within the *Airbus Flight Physics* * transnational center* in Toulouse. Our team is responsible for the aerodynamic characterization of aircraft across all Airbus programs. We generate sophisticated aerodynamic models using a variety of techniques-including empirical models, surrogate models, CFD, and wind-tunnel results-from the early design stages, subsequently updating and validating them through flight testing.
As an accurate Air Data system is a fundamental pillar of successful aircraft modeling, you will be responsible for the calibration between measured air data parameters (Angle of Attack, Static Pressure, etc.) and free-stream reference values.w
**Tasks & Accountabilities**
In this role, you will be expected to:
* *Analyze the aerodynamic impact* of proposed designs, including future aircraft concepts and flight test demonstrators, on Anemo / Clino measurements.
* *Explore future calibration methods* by leveraging machine learning techniques.
* *Calibrate Air Data sensors* * through Flight Testing* for incremental developments on existing products (XLR, A350F, etc.).
* *Support the Flight Test Center* via telemetry during Air Data and Performance flight tests.
* *Provide highly accurate reference values* to Systems teams and for precise Aircraft Performance analysis.
* *Master the link* * between Anemo / Clino calibration* and aircraft performance, including the impact of production defects and in-service events.
This role involves business travel, and you must be able to travel accordingly.
**Required Skills**
You have a *background in engineering,* with a specialization in Aerodynamics . You possess strong knowledge of aerodynamic modeling and programming (Python). Experience in data science (ML/AI) and CFD (meshing, turbulence models) is a distinct advantage.
You demonstrate *excellent * *leadership skills* , with the ability to take decisions and influence stakeholders effectively while building trustful relationships. You are motivated, energetic, and possess an innovative mindset that drives you to challenge the status quo.
An advanced level of English is required; proficiency in French is a plus.
