Description du poste
- Operate and monitor the forming line and blending systems to ensure consistent production and quality standards.
- Adjust controls and settings through a basic Human-Machine Interface (HMI) to maintain optimal operating conditions.
- Troubleshoot and correct minor mechanical or process issues to minimize downtime.
- Safely operate a forklift to load and unload paper rolls, raw materials, and finished products.
- Safely operate aerial lifts to clear/clean plugged chutes.
- Load and empty heated wax tanks as required for the production process.
- Feed the board chipper and manage material flow into the forming system.
- Adhere to all company safety, environmental, and operational policies and procedures.
- Properly use and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators as required.
- Safely perform duties in confined spaces in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
Description du profil
- Ability to operate a forklift and aerial lift.
- Perform routine cleaning of equipment and work areas to maintain a safe and organized production floor
- Use basic hand and power tools for adjustments, repairs, and preventive maintenance as directed.
- Communicate effectively with team members, maintenance staff, and supervisors about production status and equipment issues.
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely in a team environment.
- Good attention to detail and quality control awareness.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods (up to 12 hours).
- Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting up to 30- 50 lbs.
- Exposure to dust, noise, and fluctuations in temperature
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including respiratory protection when required.
