What's the job?
The Field Services Manager will oversee all activities related to supporting the installation of Resilient Systems and One Precision Assemblies by contractors and builders. This role will work closely with cross-functional partners across contractor engagement, building science, design, engineering, project management, manufacturing, and sales, as well as external stakeholders including customers, building authorities, certification bodies, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
Key responsibilities include evaluating job sites for project feasibility; verifying as-built conditions and compliance; engaging, training, and overseeing subcontractors across multiple trades; ensuring on-site safety and quality; and maintaining clear communication with customers and other external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in residential construction, project planning and execution, subcontractor and vendor management, quality assurance, permitting, and collaboration with local building authorities. Experience with panelized or modular construction is strongly preferred.
This role requires a high level of professionalism, strong interpersonal skills, exceptional organization, and effective written and verbal communication. Experience working with architectural drawings is required, and prior experience in panelized or prefabricated construction is desired but not mandatory. Because the role involves significant travel (approximately ~75-80%), candidates must be willing and able to be on the road frequently. Coverage is focused on the Eastern U.S., so proximity to major hub airports is an advantage.
Essential Functions:
• Assess project sites to proactively identify and mitigate potential installation challenges.
• Build and maintain strong, trust based relationships with local building officials to support smooth project execution and compliance.
• Source, evaluate, train, and provide ongoing oversight to subcontractors and vendors to ensure high quality performance across all trades.
• Lead all post factory phases of panelized construction projects-including shipping logistics, crane operations, on site installation, air/water/moisture barrier completion, execution of incidental site built elements, and comprehensive quality verification.
• Deliver regular, clear communication on project status and address inquiries from customers, stakeholders, and internal teams.
• Represent the organization at training sessions and trade shows to promote best practices and strengthen industry engagement.
