Description du poste
Employee & Labour Relations
- Respond to employee concerns and workplace issues, conducting investigations and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Ensure all HR decisions and recommendations comply with employment legislation, labour laws, collective agreements, company policies, and best practices.
- Lead and participate in internal investigations related to workplace conduct, harassment, policy violations, and other employment-related matters.
- Interpret and apply employment standards, human rights legislation and labour laws.
- Promote positive employee relations and support strategies that enhance employee engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness.
HR Partnership & Organizational Support
- Partner with leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives and operational priorities.
- Provide guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, talent development, and succession planning.
- Collaborate with leaders to create an environment that promotes accountability, engagement, inclusion, and high performance.
- Participate in departmental and site-wide initiatives, including Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) activities..
Onboarding & Talent Management
- Support hiring managers throughout the onboarding process, ensuring completion of all onboarding activities and documentation.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition teams to support recruitment efforts and workforce planning initiatives.
- Facilitate new employee orientation sessions and conduct onboarding presentations.
Performance Management, Training & Employee Engagement
- Coach leaders on performance management practices, career development planning, and employee growth.
- Advise managers on professional development plans, performance improvement plans, succession planning, and risk-mitigated employee decisions.
- Lead and support employee engagement, recognition, wellness, and social initiatives.
- Stay informed on emerging HR trends, technologies, legislation, and best practices.
Compensation, Benefits & Total Rewards
- Oversee administration of employee benefits and pension programs.
- Provide guidance and recommendations regarding compensation, promotions, market adjustments, off-cycle increases, and lateral moves.
- Partner with HR and Total Rewards teams on compensation reviews, workforce planning, and annual compensation programs.
HR Systems & Analytics
- Serve as the site's HR systems lead for HR platforms.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding performance management systems and processes.
- Coordinate the annual merit and incentive planning processes in collaboration with HR and business leaders.
- Compile, analyze, and report HR metrics, including turnover, headcount, absenteeism, and workforce trends.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Participate in safety meetings and support site safety initiatives.
- Reinforce the appropriate use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety protocols.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- CHRP, CHRL, or equivalent professional designation preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of progressive HR experience.
- Thorough knowledge of Ontario employment legislation, labour law, human rights legislation, and HR best practices.
- Experience conducting workplace investigations and managing complex employee relations matters.
- Strong analytical skills with experience utilizing HR metrics and workforce data.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, conflict resolution, and coaching skills.
- Demonstrated ability to influence leaders and drive organizational change.
