The Fiber Prep assistant is responsible for ensuring raw materials are stored properly and shredding equipment is loaded and operating effectively for production.
Job Responsibilities:

• Unloading and organizing raw materials - forklift operation
• Ensure shredders and bail pickers remain loaded for operation
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including daily preventative maintenance
• Change shredder blades
• Running human machine interface (HMI) to operate basic equipment

• Mechanically inclined and able to use a variety of hand tools
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and problem-solving skills are essential
• Strong emphasis on quality, productivity, and safety
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods (up to 12 hours).
• Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting up to 30- 50 lbs.
• Exposure to dust, noise, and fluctuations in temperature
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including respiratory protection when required.
