We have an immediate need for a Senior Financial Analyst.
The primary purpose of the Senior Financial Analyst is to provide financial analysis support to group management and financial reporting support to parent company. Primary responsibilities include corporate compliance reporting responsibilities, support in development and analysis of the annual budget, profitability forecasting, and business decision/performance analysis.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end financial close as well as the execution of all reporting requirements.
• Support close for the Mickleton site through various journal entries and valuations, including but not limited to shipped not billed accrual, reclass entries to support accurate split of information for magnitude reporting, and other general accruals/reclass entries.
• Support the SBU Controller in running month-end close adjustment margin jobs(COPA Assessments and Distributions) to ensure variance application into the support system.
• Serve as the primary contact for external and internal auditors and supply/coordinate responses to their requests and/or questions.
• Assist extensively in the annual preparation of the budget and rolling forecasts, working with business managers and department heads to ensure that all budgeting requirements are disseminated, understood, and completed as required. Also always looking for ways to maximize efficiency and ensure acquisitions are properly integrated.
• Perform financial analyses and make recommendations to support strategic decision-making as needed, developing financial/operational reports and models to support recommendations.
• Learn and understand the various SAP modules and the connection between the system activities and the financials.

Certain states require pay information be provided in job postings. Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees' wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the national pay range for this position which is $92,000 to $142,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 12% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $103,040 to $159.040. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.

What do you bring?

The qualified applicant will have:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, an MBA degree in Finance or CMA preferred or equivalent,
• 5+ years' experience in General Accounting, Cost Accounting and Financial Analysis
• Cost accounting/analysis experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Strong IT skills and aptitude to deliver effective desktop reporting (paperless web-enabled environment), utilize GL Wands and MS Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentations as well as SAP ERP knowledge.
• Integrity and transparency at all times.
• Ability to work autonomously but seek help when appropriate.
• Problem-solving and ability to work across functions effectively.
