Description du poste
The Commercial Finance Manager is responsible for driving the financial performance and strategic growth of the business by providing financial guidance, analysis, and oversight. The incumbent will continuously seek ways to improve financial procedures, controls, and reporting systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy. The role centers on analyzing profit and loss scenarios, monitoring budgets, and forecasting future financial outcomes, as well as collaborating with business leaders, sales, and marketing teams to develop strategies that enhance profitability, reduce costs, and improve overall financial stability.
- Interpret complex financial data, build financial models, and provide actionable insights
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and operational teams to drive profitability and support commercial initiatives
- Develop, present, and oversee the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and monthly accruals that align with the business projections within area of responsibility
- Evaluate ad hoc requests ensuring compliance of accounting doctrine
- Create and maintain Commercial financial reporting using applicable systems
- Lead digital initiatives for finance such as Vistex, Prophix, Celonis, RPA, Power BI, etc
- Liaise with IT to ensure systems and reporting are aligned with business requirements
- Ensure adherence to internal controls
- Publish sales policy document annually
- Manage approval matrix based on group policies
- Provide leadership and foster team development
Description du profil
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required
- Professional Finance qualification (CPA, CA, CMA..) is preferred
- 5+ years of experience in varied areas of accounting/finance as it relates to Sales & Marketing
- Advanced Excel skills required including V-Lookup and Pivot tables.
- Must be able to work, and communicate, with all professional levels.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize and pivot as necessary.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP)
- Experience with financial reporting software tools (Power BI) is preferred but not required
