Contract Type : Full-time, employment contract (in line with the regulations of the Republic of Serbia)
We are currently seeking a dynamic, supportive and dedicated Finance Controller to support in financial monitoring and reporting in Safege, Eastern Europe, and provide financial support to our branch offices in Macedonia and Albania, thus contribute to the overall operation of Safege France within Eastern Europe Region.

You will join the International Division of Suez Consulting. The International Division has a turnover of over €40M, generated in Central and Eastern Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. Most of the projects are financed by international donors (AFD, WB, ADB, BAD, EU, EIB, etc.), for which our teams provide engineering and consultancy services for essential services: water, waste, roads, railways, energy, the environment, urban management, etc. in developing and emerging countries.
About the position
Based in Belgrade, you will be responsible of the daily financial tasks within Safege :
Financial monitoring & reporting on Safege France projects :
- Assists operational and project managers in the preparation and monitoring of project budgets.
- Develops and maintains budget follow-up templates for efficient financial monitoring.
- Reconciles the actual costs of the project with the planned budget, identifies deviations and provides analysis, understand and risks and opportunities.
- Prepares provision calculations and provides support for the consolidation of financial processes.
- Prepares profit share and cash flow forecast to ensure adequate financial planning.
- Prepares financial reports and key performance indicators (KPI) in order to monitor the implementation of project activities and the success per zone in scope.
- Collaborate with the accounting department in charge.
- Assists in the preparation of quarterly financial calculations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Ensures business compliance with internal financial procedures and external regulatory requirements.
- Provides support to internal and external audits by providing financial data and analysis.
Financial support to other legal entities Macedonia & Albania :
- Support in creation of economic entities in Macedonia & Albania, implementation of global processes, aligned with the legal in country requirements.
- Adapts and implements tools for proper financial follow-up and KPI reporting of the projects implemented by the branch offices.
- Provides support in all financial matters to the branch offices in Macedonia and Albania, as per internal procedures and requirements and the regulatory framework of the country.
- Provides support in the case of internal and external audits project and tax related.
- Collaborates with the accounting agency in country and provides necessary instruction to align with the internal Safege requirements.
- Monitor and analyze fixed costs of the branches, identifying risks and opportunities.
Description du profil
Qualifications and Experience
Education :
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience :
Minimum 5 years of relevant finance and operational experience. The experience in the project based companies would be an asset.
Skills :
- You are fluent in English and Serbian.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- You possess an excellent command of MS Excel, Budget tracking, reporting tools including Power Point, Power BI.
- You demonstrate good team spirit with the ability to work in cross-functional teams, operational, finance and projects.
- Occasional travel to countries in scope could be expected.
