We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in an industrial environment. This role focuses on electrical infrastructure, power distribution, motors, and safety systems.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Plan, install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, circuit breaker panels, switches, relays, and electrical equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Perform routine electrical maintenance and determine appropriate corrective actions.
• Service motors, motor starters, safety circuits, and power distribution systems.
• Apply OSHA safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and electrical testing practices.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to electrical maintenance and repairs.

Work location: Norwood, MA

Schedule:

Shift: Must be able to work either a 3rd shift or a 2nd shift

3rd shift- 10PM-6:30AM

2nd shift- 2PM -10:30PM

*** Saturday or Sunday depending on production needs - 12 hours shift ***

2nd shift- 6AM-6:00PM

3rd shift- 6:00PM-6:00AM

Training- The first 90 days of training is on 1st shift

• Valid Massachusetts State Electrician's License.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with relay-based electrical control systems.
• Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Strong commitment to safety and OSHA compliance.
