Aboutthe Role
Thisposition offers the opportunity to contribute to the design and delivery ofelectrical, instrumentation, control, and automation systems across a range ofwater infrastructure projects. You will be involved in both early-stage designdevelopment and detailed engineering delivery, as well as providing supportthrough construction and commissioning phases.
Workingwithin a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will help develop practicaland compliant technical solutions, ensuring design outputs align with projectrequirements, industry standards, and operational expectations. The role alsoinvolves coordination with suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders tosupport smooth project execution from design through to site delivery.
Thisis a hands-on engineering role suited to someone who enjoys seeing theirdesigns progress into real-world operational assets.

AboutYou
Youare an Electrical or Control Systems Engineer with experience working oninfrastructure or industrial projects, ideally within water or similarregulated environments. You are confident working across multiple stages ofdelivery and enjoy being involved in both design and on-site supportactivities.
Youtake a practical approach to engineering, are comfortable working throughtechnical detail, and can communicate clearly with both technical andnon-technical stakeholders. You work well in team environments but are alsocapable of progressing tasks independently when required.

WhatYou'll Bring
Minimum 5-10 years' experience in electrical, instrumentation or controls engineering in a project-based environment
A tertiary engineering degree in electrical or Instrumentation & Control and eligible for professional engineer membership or working towards Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status
Exposure to water, wastewater or similar infrastructure/industrial projects (preferred)
Experience producing engineering deliverables such as specifications, calculations, datasheets, and design documentation
Working knowledge of Australian Standards and industry engineering practices
Experience participating in design reviews and risk workshops (HAZOP / CHAZOP desirable)
Ability to support construction and commissioning activities, including vendor coordination and FAT/SAT involvement
