What's the job?

Our Basement Attendants monitor Scrap Chute manufacturing waste & dumps hoppers using a fork truck

Essential Functions

• Patrols Scrap chute to monitor correct manufacturing waste flow.
• Dumps hoppers in a timely basis to maintain flow of waste.
• Performs simple repairs to replace air cylinders & belts.

• Notifies managers concerning the need for minor or major repairs to equipment or operating systems.
• Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
• Complies with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities
• Must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned.

Responsibilities

• Maintain area cleanliness to Client's specifications.
• Will learn and, or, be certified to use a forklift.
• Dump hoppers as needed without allowing waste to back-up.
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Experience driving forklifts in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
• Must have a valid driver's license
