Are you ready to shape the future of cruising trains through strategic system management and seamless integrations? We're seeking a dynamic Train Distribution Manager to ensure our platforms deliver exceptional performance and drive every sale to success.
Purpose:
The Train Distribution Project Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the Orient Express Distribution team provides efficient, stable, and cutting-edge solutions. The position focuses on project managing integrations between the CRS and other systems, developing new functionalities to meet evolving business needs across Sales, Marketing, and beyond, as well as identifying with our provider the best configuration to meet business needs (new promotions, package setup, etc.).
Key Responsibilities:
- Roadmap Management: Oversee and drive the development and execution of the CRS roadmap, introducing innovative functionalities and integrations that align with strategic business goals.
- Integration Projects: Manage and execute integration projects involving Train CRS with essential systems (payment, accounting, CRM, PMS, etc.). Define requirements, evaluate solutions, provide recommendations, and ensure successful project delivery.
- Incident Management: Serve as the key liaison for resolving distribution incidents, coordinating with stakeholders to identify workarounds and solutions.
- Process Documentation: Work with Finance, Sales & Marketing, IT, and partners to define, formalize, and document processes and operations needed for the effective Sales and Distribution of our products. Maintain documentation up to date in regards with system and product evolutions.
- Brand & Product Support: Collaborate with the Trains Brand and Product teams to support the seamless implementation and evolution of CRS, particularly during new product launches.
- Reporting: Report directly to the Distribution Director, providing regular updates on project progress, integration status, and resolution of incidents.
External Interactions:
- Trains Owners: Engage with owners to understand their needs and ensure CRS solutions meet their expectations.
- CRS Providers: Coordinate closely with Trains CRS provider for system integrations and issue resolution.
- System Providers: Interface with external providers of linked systems, including payment, accounting, CRM, and PMS, to ensure seamless operation.
- A minimum of 3 years in a similar role or consulting firm, with expertise in CRS systems.
- Proficient in professional English.
- Knowledge of Train (or similar) distribution systems.
- Strong project management capabilities with a practical, autonomous, and proactive approach.
- Analytical mindset: Proficiency in understanding system details and issues, delivering high-level analysis and synthesis.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Awareness of luxury market dynamics and customer expectations.
- Ability to handle short deadlines, particularly before sales launches for new products.
