Description du poste
Saint-Gobain is seeking a Product Sustainability & Performance Strategy Manager to help shape how sustainability is integrated into products, packaging, supply chains, and business decision-making across North America. This highly visible role leads programs focused on packaging sustainability strategy and governance, Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), Scope 3 emissions reduction, and supplier sustainability engagement. Working across a diverse portfolio of businesses, you will transform sustainability goals into practical action plans that deliver measurable environmental impact while supporting business growth and competitiveness.
In this role, you will lead North American initiatives that improve sustainability performance across products and packaging. You will translate evolving regulatory requirements into business processes and reporting systems, build roadmaps to increase recycled content and recyclability, and partner with global teams on Scope 3 reporting frameworks, tools, and methodologies. You will also use sustainability data and analytics to identify opportunities, guide priorities, support carbon reduction commitments, and represent regional business needs in global sustainability programs.
Success in this position requires strong cross-functional leadership and the ability to influence without direct authority. You will collaborate with Purchasing, Finance, Product Management, Packaging Engineering, Operations, R&D, Sustainability teams, and strategic suppliers to advance sustainability objectives and business priorities. This role offers the opportunity to shape packaging sustainability, supplier engagement, and carbon reduction strategies while helping Saint-Gobain deliver on its long-term sustainability commitments.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Materials Science, or a related field and 7+ years of experience in sustainability, product stewardship, environmental programs, procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, packaging, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
- Experience translating regulatory, technical, and business requirements into practical implementation plans and business processes.
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting sustainability, operational, supply chain, or business performance data.
- Experience developing and presenting recommendations, business cases, and program updates to leadership.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and drive execution in a highly matrixed environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience advancing sustainability initiatives related to products, packaging, supply chain, or carbon reduction, such as EPR, circular economy, recycled content, recyclability, Scope 3 emissions, sustainability reporting, or environmental product data.
- Demonstrated leadership in complex, cross-functional environments, with the ability to influence suppliers, purchasing/category teams, business leaders, and global stakeholders to deliver measurable sustainability and business outcomes.
