L'entreprise : Saint-Gobain
Worldwide leader in light and sustainable construction, Saint-Gobain is present in 75 countries with more than 166,000 employees. Saint-Gobain designs, manufactures and distributes materials and services for the construction and industrial markets. These solutions are found everywhere in our living places and our daily life: in buildings, transportation, infrastructure and in many industrial applications. They provide comfort, performance and sustainability while meeting the challenges of the decarbonization of the world of construction and industry, the preservation of resources and rapid urbanization.
The Technology and Industrial Performance (TIP) Department is the Group Center of Expertise for industrial excellence, typically in charge of the industrial performance roadmap, standards and benchmarking, R&D programs for construction, strategic investments, regional capacity allocation, excellence programs, etc.
Among its core missions, TIP drives a Group-wide effort to digitalize manufacturing processes worldwide. In 2026, TIP created the Digital Manufacturing Transformation (DMT) team, meant to:
- Set the strategic and technological direction of the Group to deliver on its digital ambitions
- Create a cohesive Group framework of products and standards for digital manufacturing
- Drive change at scale, across the Group's 1700+ sites worldwide
We are building an ecosystem of next-gen digital solutions designed for scale: CMMS, MES, Operational Excellence, Data Platforms, CMS, and more.
The first such solution, Opex+, is launching imminently (2026), and is expected to rapidly achieve a scale of 800 industrial sites and 15-20000 active users. This involves a massive, group-wide migration effort, at scales comparable to commercial products, and relying on enterprise-grade software, experience and service quality.
