This position may be based in either Northborough, Massachusetts or Malvern, Pennsylvania.
Saint-Gobain North America is seeking a dynamic and experienced R&D PMO Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional R&D projects that drive innovation in building materials and systems. This role will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, from concept through commercialization, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, customer and market requirements, technical feasibility, and operational readiness.
The Project Manager plays a key role in advancing the strategy to support Saint-Gobain North America R&D and business units. Building on a strong foundation in project management, this role requires strong business acumen to manage complex projects, coordinating closely across multiple functions and business leadership teams. In addition to project management, the role will also be responsible for identifying and mitigating program risks and communication with key stakeholders.
- Leading end-to-end project management, translating evolving business and R&D needs into clear project plans.
- Developing and managing detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations, and overseeing execution to meet key deliverables and milestones on time.
- Managing more complex projects or multiple work streams, proactively aligning teams, resolving blockers, and ensuring consistent progress toward goals, including execution of project tasks.
- Championing best practices in project management, including Agile and hybrid methodologies.
- Establishing and manage contracts and agreements with external project consultants.
- Managing internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and communicating the business value, status of initiatives, and critical decisions.
- Ensuring timely communication of project status, risks, and mitigation strategies to leadership.
- Defining project scope, objectives, and success metrics in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Mentor newer team members and contribute to the team's evolving ways of working as project capabilities grow.
- Facilitating team meetings, technical reviews, risk assessments, and adherence to the Saint-Gobain North America Gate Process.
- Support the Innovation & Sustainability Portfolio Manager in refining the PMO vision drawing on internal and external customer insights, business strategy, and technical feasibility considerations.
- Fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Description du profil
- Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of experience or M.B.A / Master's degree with 3+ years of experience in Engineering, Product Design, Business, Product Management, Project Management, Sciences, or other related fields.
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary project teams across R&D, engineering, manufacturing, marketing, and regulatory functions through project definition and execution.
- PMP or other project management certification (Preferred)
- Knowledge of Project Management/ Agile methodologies.
- Excellent presentation skills
