As a trusted People & Culture Business Partner, you will play a critical role in enabling organisational performance within a highly regulated, safety-critical environment.
This is more than a traditional HR role. You will influence leaders, strengthen capability, and drive initiatives that enhance engagement, performance and culture-directly supporting the delivery of essential services to South Australians.
In this pivotal partnering role, you will:
- Partner with leaders across trade, field operations and support functions to deliver both strategic and operational people & culture solutions aligned to business priorities.
- Provide expert, timely and pragmatic advice on employee relations, performance management, leadership effectiveness, organisational design and change
- Drive workforce planning, talent development and capability uplift initiatives to ensure a future-ready workforce.
- Coach and influence leaders to build accountability, strengthen people leadership capability and embed organisational values.
- Support and drive change initiatives that directly impact operational delivery and service excellence
- Champion programs that elevate leadership capability, employee engagement and the overall employee experience.
Description du profil
You hold tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management (or similar) and bring 5+ years' experience in a HR Generalist or People & Culture role. You have a strong track record of successfully partnering with leaders across the full employee lifecycle.
You are a credible and pragmatic advisor with sound knowledge of employment legislation, enterprise agreements and common law contracts. You thrive in operational, fast-paced environments and exercise sound judgement while effectively balancing risk, compliance and business outcomes.
Your strengths include building trusted relationships, influencing at all levels and confidently navigating employee relations matters. You bring experience applying contemporary HR best practice, ideally within operational or blue-collar workforce settings.
Experience within utilities, infrastructure, construction or other highly regulated, safety-focussed industries will be highly regarded. Exposure to enterprise bargaining, organisational change, workforce planning and leadership development initiatives will further strengthen your application.
Proficiency in HRIS systems, the ability to interpret workforce data to inform decision-making, strong attention to detail and a current driver's licence are essential.
