Join CertainTeed as a Maintenance Engineer and play a crucial role in enhancing plant reliability and efficiency. Utilize World Class Manufacturing (WCM) techniques to investigate and solve reliability issues while supporting maintenance teams and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Maintenance Initiatives:
  • Plan, evaluate, and implement maintenance and repair activities to ensure minimal downtime and maximum safety.
• Drive Continuous Improvement:
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions to enhance plant reliability.
• Support Team Development:
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to develop preventive maintenance strategies and support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) efforts.
• Documentation & Compliance:
  • Ensure all projects meet WCM/Early Equipment Management (EEM) standards and maintain accurate records in our Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

• Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience:
  • Proven experience in maintenance engineering, with a strong understanding of blueprints, schematics, and equipment reliability.
  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience or equivalent training in maintenance or engineering.
• Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
  • Experience with AutoCAD and P&ID is a plus.
