Reports To
North American Sales Manager - Treatment Technologies
Job Purpose
To provide technical expertise and support in the design, specification, and implementation of water treatment solutions for municipal, industrial, and wastewater applications. The Applications Engineer will work closely with internal E&C, R&D, and project teams, and provide technical support to Suez licensing partners to ensure customer requirements are met with innovative and cost-effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
· Analyze customer requirements and propose tailored water treatment solutions.
· Prepare technical proposals, process designs, and equipment specifications.
· Support the sales team with technical presentations and client meetings.
· Collaborate with R&D and product management to develop new solutions.
· Conduct pilot testing and performance evaluations.
· Provide technical support during project execution and commissioning.
· Ensure technical compliance with licensing principles.
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of water treatment technologies and trends.
Description du profil
Qualifications
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
· 3+ years of experience in water/wastewater treatment or industrial water systems.
· Strong understanding of water treatment processes (e.g., clarification, filtration, RO, ion exchange, biological treatment).
· Proficiency in process simulation tools and CAD software is a plus.
· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
· Fluent in English, additional languages beneficial.

Working Conditions
· Office-based with occasional travel to client sites and treatment plants.
