WHAT - Summary & Purpose of the Position
As an S&OE Intern, you will collaborate with the S&OE Senior Manager to align and optimize shipments, oversee stock monitoring, and play a key role in process improvement activities. He / She will also contribute to structuring a brand-new function. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in operational planning, supply chain coordination, and performance analysis within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
WHAT - Main Responsibilities & Technical Competencies
- Take the lead in analyzing and following up on urgent shipments, combining insights from various data sources to understand underlying issues and contribute to process improvements
- Contribute to data collection and consolidation for S&OE meetings, reviewing affiliate stock levels, identifying potential risks such as overstock or stockouts, and analysing their impact on overall availability
- Take an active role in the end-to-end coordination of shipments, connecting affiliates, logistics, and planning teams to anticipate issues, ensure on-time deliveries, and optimize operational flow
- Engage in the analysis of low stock situations, identifying root causes and proposing improvement actions to prevent recurrence
- Play a key role in performance tracking by preparing reports, dashboards, and key metrics, and proactively proposing ideas or analyses to enhance operational performance
HOW - Knowledge & Experience
Knowledge & Experience (essential):
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
- Good computer skills (Excel mainly, SAP and Rapid Response are a plus).
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Curious, proactive, and eager to learn about end-to-end supply chain processes.
- Comfortable working in an international and dynamic environment.
Education / Certifications (preferred):
- Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering
Language(s) (essential):
- French and English
