Description du poste

The mission of the Business Division New Development and Transformation (BD NDT) is to innovate and develop new technologies, products, digital solutions in connection with the new areas in which Axens wishes to expand and in connection with the move to ecological transition.

The aim of the Water Treatment Group is to develop complete solutions for the treatment and valorization of aqueous effluents from Axens' processes, in close collaboration with our subsidiary HydroThane B.V. and our partners. To support this development, the Water Treatment Group is looking for a Water Treatment Process & Proposal Engineer.

Missions :



You will be involved into international projects for Axens units within the Water Treatment Group, under the supervision of the Water Treatment Coordination Manager. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our subsidiary based in The Netherlands. Your main activities will be to:

* · Participate in the development of process books (unit design, PFD and P&IDs drawings, equipment specifications etc.)
* · Participate in process document review meetings: review of PFDs, P&IDs, HAZOPs, etc.

* · Participate in other more specific tasks, providing assistance to the Bid Proposals activity

* · Coordinate the progress of process book, liaising within the Group and in particular with the subsidiary
* · Participate to the project schedule organization
* · Monitor cost of projects
* · Participate in the various meetings scheduled during the course of the project (KOM, design reviews, P&ID reviews, safety reviews) with the support of the subsidiary and your manager.

Upon qualification, experience and motivation, you will be implied in the continuous improvement process, the deployment of good practices related to WT market in Axens process teams and/or the development of synergies with other Business Divisions.





Knowledge and Required Level:



You have a degree in chemical/environmental engineering (Master of sciences or equivalent), specialized in biological wastewater treatment.

You have at least 5 years of experience within the field of biological wastewater treatment of industrial effluents.



You are experienced in Process basic and/or detail engineering tasks, such as:

* · Process Modeling using Autocad
* · Equipment specification (pumps, compressors, drums, etc.)
* · Process flow diagrams, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID)
* · Process control and Safety.

Description du profil

Your experience enable you to follow up and analyze lab and pilot testing campaigns on industrial wastewater effluents.



A training period of several months might be envisaged in our subsidiary's offices in The Netherlands according to profile and experience.

Position is based in Rueil-Malmaison, France.



A fluent level of English is mandatory.
