Missions of the job
Member of the Europe team, the Ruminant Technical Sales Manager - Greece & Cyprus has a double mission:
- Primary focus on developing the ruminant business in Greece and Cyprus, supporting the market through strong technical expertise, particularly in amino acid (AA) balancing and advanced nutrition strategies. The role is expected to significantly contribute to business growth in these markets. In a potential second phase, depending on performance and business needs, the geographical scope could be extended to neighboring countries.
- Responsible for promoting, developing and selling the Ruminant Specialty product lines within the assigned geographical area. The role combines strong technical support capabilities with commercial accountability, ensuring value creation for customers through tailored nutritional solutions.
The person in this role acts as a key contributor to business growth, combining technical expertise in ruminant nutrition with strong business development and strategic capabilities. This role strengthens Adisseo's positioning in advanced nutrition and amino acid balancing while driving sustainable growth in the region.

Business Development & Sales
- Develop and grow the ruminant business in Greece and Cyprus, with direct ownership of commercial results.
- Promote and sell Adisseo's Specialty product portfolio, offering integrated solutions combining products and services.
- Identify market opportunities and generate demand through proactive customer engagement strategies.
Customer & Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships with customers, distributors, and key stakeholders.
- Understand customer needs and decision-making processes to support product adoption and maximize sales.
- Build long-term, trust-based relationships with clients.
Technical Expertise & Support
- Act as a technical expert in ruminant nutrition.
- Monitor and support field trials, translating technical results into business value.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market dynamics and competitor activities
Collaboration & Coordination
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (sales, marketing, technical) to support business objectives.
- Train and support distributor and agent sales teams.
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
Reporting & Strategy Contribution
- Record and manage customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Contribute to defining product development priorities and regional strategies.
Profil:
Hard Skills
- Strong technical expertise in ruminant nutrition, with deep knowledge of amino acid formulation.
- Proven experience in selling technical products or solutions in the animal nutrition industry. (5 yrs working experience at least)
- Background as STSM / Technical Sales Manager or similar role.
- Good understanding of ruminant production systems and market dynamics in Greece & Cyprus (or similar markets).
- Knowledge of formulation systems (INRA, NRC, CNCPS, DVE or equivalent).
- Experience managing field trials and translating technical results into commercial value
Advanced user of MS Office tools.

Languages:
- Greek (mandatory)
- English (mandatory)
- Any additional regional language is a plus.
Education
- Degree in Animal Science, Nutrition, Veterinary Medicine or related field.
- Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Ruminant Nutrition is a strong advantage.
Location:
- Permanent home-based position located in Greece (North & Central Greece is a plus)
- Requires frequent travel within the assigned territory (minimum 50% of the time with customers).
