Mission of the job
As an Area Technical Manager in Ruminant, , you will provide high‑level technical expertise and field support for Adisseo's solutions for ruminants. Your role is to translate science into practical value for customers, strengthen market positioning, identify business opportunities, and support the commercial team with strong technical insight.
Responsabilités:
Technical Expertise & Field Support
- Provide technical recommendations to customers, distributors, feed mills, veterinarians, and farm nutritionists.
- Translate scientific knowledge into practical solutions that improve animal performance, health, and farm profitability.
- Support internal sales teams with technical arguments, product positioning, and customer engagement.
Field Trials & Data Management
- Design, coordinate, and analyze field trials and farm evaluations to assess Adisseo products (Product Quality and value portfolio e.g. Methionine, Prime Line…)
- Collaborate with universities, independent research centers, and key opinion leaders in Poland.
- Document findings and provide clear reports and presentations.
Customer & Market Development
- Identify new technical and commercial opportunities in the CEE market.
- Conduct farm visits, audits, nutrition assessments, and technical meetings with customers.
- Participate in trade shows, technical seminars, and conferences as expert subjects.
Knowledge Transfer & Technical Content
- Develop high‑quality technical materials (presentations, articles, protocols, training content).
- Deliver technical training to distributors, internal teams, and strategic accounts.
- Monitor scientific literature and market trends relevant to ruminant nutrition.
Profil:
Hard Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in animal nutrition, veterinary practice, feed industry, or technical consultancy - specifically in ruminants.
- Solid expertise in dairy and beef nutrition, rumen physiology, feed formulation, and farm management.
- Experience designing and managing nutrition trials and evaluating performance data.
- Strong understanding of livestock sector dynamics.
- Fluent in Polish and English.
- Availability to travel regularly throughout CEE (approximately 50%).
- Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office
Soft Skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Customer‑centric mindset with a proactive and problem‑solving approach.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a matrix organization.
- Organizational skills, reliability, and a results‑oriented attitude.
Education
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, Agronomy, or similar.
- Master's degree specializing in ruminant nutrition is considered a strong asset.
