The Supply Chain Manager ensures the proper implementation of supply chain policies in order to meet the expectations of the regions and customers at the best possible cost, while guaranteeing their satisfaction. You are responsible for driving the supply chain by coordinating the sales and replenishment forecast (using inputs from the Flow Pilot), the order book, production plans, and inventory levels. You work closely with local operational teams, the SBU Flow Pilot, and the global supply chain teams. You are in charge of providing monthly KPI results to measure and drive local performance.
You will lead a team based in Alcalá and fully participate in transformation projects. You are part of the management team of the Adisseo Animal Nutrition production site and report to the Plant Director and functionally to the SBU Supply Chain Manager.
Mission of the role
- Coordinate the processing and follow‑up of contracts/orders for finished products through storage, invoicing, and collection/distribution.
- Design and organize strategies to manage production planning for finished products, with the constant objective of optimizing the cost/quality/lead‑time balance.
- Drive the various supply chain processes (description, monitoring, and improvement).
- Ensure an adequate level of raw material inventory for the production of finished goods, based on the replenishment forecast for finished products or direct deliveries to customers.
- Participate in the implementation of transversal corporate and SBU projects (SAP implementation).
Responsabilités:
Supply Chain Team Management
- Recruit and select new team members.
- Measure team performance through regular individual performance reviews.
- Act as a true leader and reference for your team, contributing to their development.
- Ensure organizational effectiveness, training, and accountability to maintain a positive social climate.
Supply Chain Activity Management
- Manage service effectiveness through recovery, quality, customer satisfaction, and inventory measurement indicators.
- Participate in daily/weekly reviews of local operations and coordinate actions/decisions with the supply chain team.
- Ensure compliance with international business and regulatory standards, as well as European and local regulations.
- Ensure data maintenance and accuracy in collaboration with headquarters support services.
- Define, monitor, and improve supply chain KPIs.
- In collaboration with the plant, the SBU, and the Global Supply Chain department, define and implement the supply chain strategy: product flows, distribution rules, warehouse positioning and sizing, raw material replenishment rules, inventory levels, and targets.
- Report all quality issues in the system.
- Member of the HACCP team.
Profil:
Hard Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) as a Supply Chain Manager (supply planning, logistics, and purchasing/replenishment), including in fields beyond animal nutrition.
- Knowledge of SAP/ECC or S/4HANA ERP (Materials Management, Order to Cash, and Production Planning).
- Proficiency in Power BI.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office programs, especially Excel.
- Good understanding of business issues and processes.
- Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English (spoken and written).
- Strong analytical skills and problem‑solving abilities.

Education
- A degree in Supply Chain is preferred.
- APICS certification is an advantage.
